Communion and Liberation (CL) is an official ecclesial movement within the Catholic Church founded by Fr. Luigi Giussani in 1954. The mission of CL rests on the concept that faith, lived out in communion, is the source of the true liberation of man. Through the gaze taught by this movement, we see Christian life as an adventure, with each moment a novel opportunity to experience the beauty and truth of God revealed in the world. One of the proposals is “School of Community”, which consists of personal meditation over a text followed by a weekly meeting. The goal is a constant comparison between the Christian proposal and one’s own life, in order to continuously verify the relevance of Christ in every aspect of reality, including our own human needs.
