Have you ever been to a haunted house? You walk around for a little while, you scream at a few things, and then you laugh with your friends at how silly you're being? Not everyone has done that. Have you ever gone for an evening walk around a lake? The water reflects the darkening sky, the autumn trees surround you, and you can just take in all of nature's beauty? Not everyone has done that either, but almost nobody has ever done both at the same time.

On the first Saturday of October, we plan on changing that. Join us at Black Moshannon, the same place as our Labor Day picnic, for the Haunted Lake Loop Trail. We will be walking around the lake on a flat trail that runs about 3/4 miles long, and there will be numerous spooky surprises. Come along for a spooktacular night you won't soon forget.

This event may not be suitable for those who scare very easily, so come along at your own risk.

We will be organizing rides and registration through the Nittany Catholic announcements GroupMe, so check the announcements the week of the event to sign up. If you would like to come, please wear good walking shoes and bring a jacket or something to keep warm by the lake during the evening. If you wish to bring a light, it must be a glow stick or red light as bright white lights are not recommended.
